I have it now. It also took me forever to set up because for some reason all the wireless router settings had to be done manually and ugh. Then some stupid program that installed itself from the router driver CD erased my wireless card drivers and that was awesome.

Don't laugh at me.

Anyway, now I can reconnect to your lives through the tubes. Yesss.


Only not now because I need a nap before work. It is pretty brutal just working and going to school all of the time and not being able to do anything else. It'll pay off though.

As for my living situation-- it's going to be fine. There are just no sublets popping up anywhere in the area (typical for the fall) so I'm going to just stay at my friend Kitten's place for the next couple of months. I am going to try to make myself a room by strategically moving around bookcases to section off part of the living room. It's rough just sleeping on the couch.

I'll be more adequately in touch soon! I miss you guys.

Wow. Weirdest situation ever.

I kind of wanted to say to you "Hey I'm not such a computer moron I'm sure you deal with retards but..." but I was just so tired and cranky. Oh man. I'd stayed up all night and gone to class all morning and came home and when the internet didn't start working quickly and easily I started crying. Sorry I was so cranky!


Haha what the hell I can't get over this. Small world! I really did think that I was happy you weren't a moron and/or foreign. You really did impress me!

I wouldn't have talked to you quite so much like a customer if I had known it was you, but that's phone etiquette for you... usually it's just easier to explain things as dead simple as possible but yeah. You sounded so mad I felt bad!

You had an alright time with that once you got the wireless drivers, right? I don't know what software uninstall you used but I'm not even sure Client Manager comes with its own software uninstall, gonna check... that's weird as hell.

P.S. Never ever touch Client Manager unless you're on Win2k or anything previous where it will require the CM. Vista and XP have better built in wireless clients.

Yeah I hated that thing!

The Atheros site didn't provide drivers for download, but I got them no prob from my laptop's company.


Also do only like five people work there? I was going to ask you that back when I didn't know who you were because it took so long, but then I figured I was bitchy enough already and none of it was your fault at all. You were actually super awesome!

No, but the wireless calls tend to take a lot longer than other ones (as you can see) and even with a bunch of people on there we get a lot of calls for wireless stuff so it just backs up... blah. It sucks but there's not much we can do about it aside from try to plow through the calls. Hell, I'm here now.

I am glad you thought I was super awesome! :D

Laptop mfg. better provide the drivers if the Atheros site doesn't. What the shit is that?
